Files, Angles, Thank You's, and more...

With all the craziness that has been going on lately in my life, I finally have a chance to sit down and write a blog post. Yay! The days have been flying by lately and it seems like I'm accomplishing nada in every aspect of my life. I don't like that feeling. When I feel like I've completed on task, there's either more required or another pops out of the woodwork.

Today I spent my day searching job boards so that I will no longer have to depend on this one particular client (I'll leave out the company's name) for my income. I've also begun working on a few different angled articles for various parenting and cat magazines in hopes of breaking into the magazine full force. My fingers are crossed. I would love to work for a magazine or just freelance full-time and get everything I write published in various magazines around the county. That's what every writer wants who writes for an income though. For now, I'd be happy to just land one (at least for the next 3 months) :).

I've spend the last few days trying to put my office files together. They seem to have been piled in a corner for the last 6 months and new printouts of invoices, projects, etc. have been piled on top. I have them all sorted now for the most part and placed in their appropriate binders. I thought I would never finish that.

I'd like to thank everyone (two to be exact) to the email on the "Time-Out" post I put up days ago. I meant to place in the heading for all Mothers, Fathers, Nannies, etc. Basically anyone who has been around children and have had to use the time-out method. My article hasn't found its home angle as of yet, so I'm still searching for it. I've just been writing down whatever I can about time-out and soon it will begin to form the correct angle I've been waiting for.

I really should  be writing...

Hi Noelle, I'm a new follower. Just popped in and I really feel for you finding new direction. Wouldn't it be lovely to be able to write full time for mags...:)
